Marlene Noda has been a professional sushi chef for well over two decades. Starting in 1989 she has worked in Hawaii, Portland, Alaska, and currently Salt Lake City. We feel lucky to be able to learn from her years of experience and education.
Marlene earned her bachelor’s degree in culinary management from the Art Institute of Salt Lake. She currently owns and operates a catering company and is a chef at Blind Dog Restaurant and Sushi Bar and Grappa Italian Restaurant in Park City, Utah. She has been teaching others how to create sushi creations since 2002 and is the inventor of the very popular Mars Twist Roll.
