Chef Shawn Bucher brings with him a wealth of education. With a master’s degree, culinary certificate, a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and tourism management, and certificates in accounting and professional sales. Each class Shawn teaches he brings everything he has learned throughout the years and uses that to teach with passion.
Shawn is also a certified executive chef (CEC) and certified culinary educator (CCE) through the American Culinary Federation. He is also a certified dietary manager (CDM) and certified food protection professional (CFPP) through the ANFP.
Having traveled the country, he has worked professionally in many aspects of the food service industry. Over the past 20 years Shawn has held positions such as: chef instructor, consultant, and food and beverage director, as well as, executive chef and general manager. He is currently an executive success coach and consultant for DM&A, the largest healthcare consulting firm in the country.
